  • Site specific nutrient management (SSNM) for sunflower-groundnut (alfisols), sunflower-chickpea (vertisols) resulted in improving the soil fertility there by reducing the fertilizer application and cost with increasing seed yield and fertilizer use efficiency.
  • Long term fertilizer trial on Sorghum-Sunflower cropping system in alfisols indicate recommended NPK with 5 tons/ha FYM would result in higher yield, soil fertility, sustainability and fertilizer use efficiency
  • Moisture stress from thinning to star bud stage induces leaf axil branching both in vertisols and alfisols.
  • Developed sustainable integrated nutrient management practices for soybean - sunflower cropping system in Vertisols
