My warm greetings and welcome to the ICAR–Indian Institute of Oilseeds Research (IIOR), a premier ISO 9001:2015 certified institute engaged in oilseed research and coordination since April 1967. Since its inception in the nascent form as the All India Coordinated Research Project on Oilseeds (AICRPO), the institute has evolved significantly to emerge as a leading centre for frontier research, technology development, and dissemination in oilseed crops. Over the decades, IIOR has contributed immensely to enhancing productivity, promoting sustainable cultivation practices, strengthening seed systems, and supporting national food and nutritional security through innovations, partnerships, and farmer-centric research programmes.
