  1. Proposed the Ideotype of castor for rainfed and irrigated situations
  2. Standardization of Temperature induction Response technique (TIR) for selecting castor genotypes with seedling tolerance to temperature
  3. Development of deficiency symptoms of all major, secondary and micronutrients in castor
  4. Identification of  germplasm, breeding lines for root growth, water use efficiency and drought tolerance in castor
  5. Economic threshold level for initiating cost effective insect management strategy (25% defoliation) in castor
